Andrew has worked on exhibitions at community-based museums in New York, Chicago and Washington, DC. He is currently curating an exhibition that will feature artwork created by detained Chinese asylum seekers titled FOLD: Golden Venture Paper Sculptures, on view from October 5, 2017 to March 25, 2018. He was the co-curator of Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Spicy: Stories of Chinese Food and Identity in America, which recently closed at MOCA. In 2016, Andrew presented a music-focused research project set in a participatory sound installation at the former site of Pearl River Mart with his DJ collective ANTICUCHOS for the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center’s two-day event CTRL+ALT: A Culture Lab on Imagined Futures. He was a 2011 Curator-in-Residence at UNAM’s Museo Experimental El Eco in Mexico City, and since then has organized exhibitions and performances for the New Forms Media Society in Vancouver, Canada.
