Ms. Jane Chuang is a Partner at Lee Anav Chung White Kim Ruger & Richter LLP. She advises clients, particularly those in the creative industries, regarding both transactional and litigation matters involving intellectual property (copyright/trademark) and internet/media law.
Ms. Chuang was a founding partner of Yim & Chuang LLP, and was formerly associated with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. She served as law clerk to the Honorable Anne E. Thompson in the District of New Jersey from 2005 to 2006. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Columbia College, Columbia University (2001). She received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law (2005), where she served as a Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review.
Ms. Chuang is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Chuang is a co-chair of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association’s Entertainment Law Committee and is a member of the NY Chapter Planning Committee of the Copyright Society. She formerly served as an officer of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and as a co-chair of its Intellectual Property Committee.
