Jung Choi is Senior Counsel in the Corporate Governance and Securities group at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), a global biopharmaceutical company focused on its mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines to patients with serious diseases. Jung is responsible for securities law reporting and compliance, as well as financing transactions and corporate governance matters. Jung provides legal counseling to multiple business units including Treasury and Tax on corporate transactions and Investor Relations and Public Affairs on corporate communications. As part of the Corporate Secretary’s Office, she also coordinates the annual meeting process, manages communications between BMS’ senior management, Board of Directors and shareholders and supports several of the Board’s committees.
Prior to joining BMS, Jung was a corporate associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York and Hong Kong where she focused primarily on capital markets transactions. Jung received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, cum laude, from Yale University. Prior to law school, Jung was a research fellow for the East Asia Regional Security Program at the Henry L. Stimson Center, a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank in Washington DC. Jung has been an active member of AABANY since 2012.
